Today's entry will be in English so that all the UK people I meet can actually understand what I'm writing here.
Yesterday I arrived at Steph's cosy appartment in Oval. She is an extremely friendly and easy-going person (Thanks again for having me =) ), we watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics and talked a lot about music, films and the UK. She also helped me with my plans for the rest of my journey (she travelled incredibly much and gave me a lot of very useful advice!) and offered to host me for the rest of my time in London =)
Due to Steph's great organisational skills and her knowledge about the UK my travel plans are now as follows: I won't visit Brighton (it's too expensive for my budget), instead I'll take the night-train to Edinburgh and make a day trip to Dunbar (which allows me to kill two birds with one stone: spend some time in Scotland and see a gorgeous beach). After I've stayed with a bunch of couchsurfers in Oxford and Manchester, I'll (hopefully, concrete dates aren't fixed yet) be on two wwoofing farms until I'll come back to Germany around the middle of September.
I think this trip will turn out pretty good =D
I'm enjoying my time here but I also miss all of you terribly!
- Kate
