travel times

Finally, I arrived in Oxford, better to say at Chris' cozy room in a college building. The night travel was hard (barely slept in night train and an unfortunate determination of a train in Birmingham, followed by a FORTH change of trains; nevertheless quite interesting because I got to talk to a young Chinese guy who lives in the UK) and I'm exhausted (Dunbar was magnificent but I appreciate the calmer days that are about to come up).
Chris is a nice, talkative guy who knows incredibly much about languages (bachelors in French and Italian, masters in Italian); he's playing the guitar right now which sounds beautiful =)
Oxford is also very cute, smaller than the cities I've been to so far apart from Dunbar obviously :D I guess we will wander around a bit during the day, tonight we're doing a pub crawl Chris was assigned to (to entertain some Chinese summer students).
And I recognized something: I'm getting used to travelling, meeting people, orientating in a town or village. I really start to enjoy myself!

Lots of Love!
Katrin
